Pidhi (पिँढी) is a free app for iPhone and Android with five tools: Sun Hisab, Jagga Napi, Ghar Khata, Sawari Khata and Akshar ma. It is published by TodsAI LLC and made in Pokhara by Nepal Get Online. By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
In short: the app is free and keeps your data on your phone. The tools give estimates to help you, so check anything important before you rely on it.
The app is free
Pidhi has no account, no in-app purchases and no ads.
The tools give estimates
- Sun Hisab. The price depends on the rate, the weight and the shop's own charges. Check it against your bill.
- Jagga Napi. Shapes and areas are estimates worked out from the sides you enter. They are not a survey or a legal measurement.
- Ghar Khata and Sawari Khata. These only keep what you enter. They do not check it.
- Akshar ma. Check the words before you write a cheque.
Nothing in the app is financial, legal or tax advice.
The gold and silver rate
The rate shown in Sun Hisab is the rate FENEGOSIDA (the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association) publishes for the day. It is shown for information, with attribution. Pidhi is not affiliated with FENEGOSIDA. The rate may arrive late or differ from the price a shop quotes. You can always enter your own rate instead.
Your data
What you enter stays on your phone, as the privacy policy explains. You are responsible for your own backups. Deleting the app deletes its data from the phone.
Reminders
Reminders are notifications created on your phone. They may not appear if notifications are turned off or the phone is off. Do not rely on them as your only record of a legal deadline such as a bluebook, insurance or licence renewal.
No warranty, limited liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, TodsAI LLC is not liable for losses that come from using the estimates in the app. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
App store terms
The terms of the store you downloaded Pidhi from also apply: Apple's standard licence terms on iPhone, and the Google Play terms on Android.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date above.
